  • My Life as an Ice Cream Sandwich by Ibi Zoboi

  • The Truth as Told by Mason Buttle by Leslie Connor

  • A High Five for Glen Burke by Phil Bildner

  • Bloom by Kenneth Oppel

• Two additional novels of your choice (one could be a graphic novel if you’d like) — a great list for ideas is available here (except don’t read Roll of Thunder), but wherever you find books is fine!
