Encyclopedia of Artists by
Contains alphabetically arranged essays that examine the lives and work of 222 Western artists including painters, and with discussion of movements and ideas in art; and includes four hundred color plates, explanatory diagrams, cross-references, a glossary, a timeline, a series index, and suggestions for further reading.
History of Art for Young People
Isms by
Presents an introductory guide to the visual arts, and offers a look at the various "isms" that are used to define art movements, the different art historical periods, and their most important artists and their works.
