At Wheeler School, your science projects need to include an American Psychological Association (APA) Style bibliography. If applicable to your project, you may also need to include image captions and/or footnotes. You can use Noodletools for tracking sources, notetaking, and creating your bibliography and footnotes.
Reminder: You need to cite all sources used in your paper whether they are written (e.g. articles, books, etc.), visual (e.g. photos, graphs, etc.) or other formats (e.g. a song, etc). Some common things that must be cited include, but are not limited to:
a. direct quotation of another person’s words,
b. a paraphrase of another person’s words, ideas, etc.
c. use of a term/idea from another person’s work, etc.
You can use Noodletools to create these citations and export a bibliography, but here are some sample citations for your reference. You can find additional samples through the Purdue OWL.
