Along with general Reference books like Encyclopedia Britannica and the yearly World Almanac, there are also Reference books with a more specific and detailed focus. Topic specific Reference books often include longer and more detailed articles pertaining to the subject at hand. These latter types of resources are ones you should consider using for your project.
